I am a Berlin based Australian artist who was born in South Africa. My ancestral history as well as my own is one of uprooted movement around the globe. As such, a sense of not belonging anywhere has always informed my art practice. My work generally sits in the surreal and abstract. I use renderings of ego and alter ego to express longing, loneliness and displacement. I strive to use vivid colour palettes to create an emotional connection with viewers. My practice extends across the fields of Painting, Photography, Film and Virtual Reality.
